About Me

Academic PursuitsAcademics have always been at the forefront of my high school career. Second to my courses, I love engaging in mathematics, computer science, and general science in all capacities that I can. These pursuits include leading major academic clubs at my highschool, competitive math competitions, volunteering to teach underserved students robotics and coding, and much more.

MusicEver since I was four years old, I have had a loving and fruitful relationship with music. I have strong passions for the classical guitar, the tabla, and the steelpan. They all provide me with a beautiful vehicle with which I am able to express myself.

DEI WorkAs a Sikh and being the only turban-wearing student at my school, I have already faced a fair share of adversity. Now that I have found my voice, I am devoted to helping others find theirs as well. This is why I am also strongly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work both in and outside of my school.

AthleticsRunning has grown to be a love of mine, both on a competitive level and as a casual activity. From our school's varsity track and cross country teams to my years at the University of Chicago Track Club, I run anywhere and everywhere that I can. In my seven years running track and four years on cross country, I have medaled on the regional, state, and national levels, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon!
